Instead assign Shift Up and Shift Down in the Keys and Buttons settings. Unassign Automatic Gearbox: Drive and Reverse in the Controls options. They are for a shifter rather than a button (hence why you need to hold them down to stay in gear). Instead assign Shift Up and Shift Down in the Keys and Buttons settings.
Re: Left Windows key no longer locked by the game. I've been able to fix the problem, by creating a new game data directory and then moving my mods across. I had to scrap the old profile though. As soon as I move it into the new data directory, the problem comes back (and affects the Launchpad menu too). At least we know it is profile related
The steerable axles ALL rotate with the truck's steering. This can make it easier to park in tight spaces, but it can also make it completely impossible. It is good if you have the steerable axles as liftable axles at the same time. Then you can choose, as long as the load weight does not push down the lift axles. #1.
But if your ESC key works totally fine in other games and it doesn't work in Euro Truck Simulator 2, then there's something wrong with your Euro Truck Simulator 2. My solution: There are main and secondary key bindings in Euro Truck Simulator 2. You can assign two keys for only one action. So maybe you can assign an another key for ESC in the
I have a problem with the truck going into reverse . when stopped in heavy traffic , When I press accelerator to go it sometimes reverse's I don't have any mods I play the game in MP This problem started last week I've tried to sort it but just cant figure out what the problem is My truck is right hand drive & on the right hand side next to the steering wheel there is a switch that flicks down
I use a full keyboard, so the numerical keys are used for steering and accelerating/braking. The arrows are used for engine and trailer brakes and shifting up and down. Intro is cruise control, - key is increase and + key is decrease. I have tried the mouse steering but I use a trackpad, so it was very difficult. Maybe I will give it another shot.
Even if you didn't raise the landing gear you could still move since trucks still have enough power to drive with the landing gear down, you'll just end up damaging your landing gear. Other thing you could do is go to the settings and make sure that your pedal axis (Clutch, Brake and Gas) are actually registering. #3.
After the 1.43 update, the game started to have a very annoying problem. The problem is; When you press the brake and hit the gas again right after the truck stops, the truck starts to go backwards (reverse). Especially after stopping at the toll booth, when i hit the gas, the truck goes reverse and i hit the car behind me. i run into this problem every time i stop at a red lights or at gas
